The Arrival

Before anyone followed Him…
before crowds gathered…
before the teachings, the healings, and the cross…

Jesus arrived.

But the arrival of Jesus into the world did not happen in silence. Long before His birth, people were watching, waiting, and wondering what God was doing. Some heard promises whispered through prophets. Some felt the weight of expectation in their prayers. And when the moment finally came, ordinary men and women found themselves standing inside a story far larger than their own lives.

In The Arrival, Tobias, Leah, and Zeke (fictional characters from Jesus’ time) set out to understand how it all began. They search the Scriptures and the testimonies of those who lived through those days—people like Zechariah and Elizabeth, Mary and Joseph, shepherds in the night fields, and others who found themselves drawn into the mystery of what God was doing in the world.

As they listen to these voices from the past, they begin to see something surprising. The story of Jesus’ arrival was not simply the beginning of His life on earth. It was the beginning of a new way of life—one that continues to invite people into the Kingdom of God even today.

Their search becomes more than a study of the past. It becomes a discovery of the life Jesus came to bring.

And as they listen, they begin to realize that the story of His arrival may also be the beginning of their own journey as His disciples.
